Pet doors have always been a utilitarian product--let the dog or cat in or out--without much regard for "style". Now Classy Custom has introduced a line of pet doors that are high performance but, also, incorporate designer features.

There are two main lines of  Classy Custom pet doors:

1. The stainless steel "Magnum" series

- Strong, durable pet doors crafted in stainless steel. These feature a stainless steel locking cover fastened by a strong dead bolt lock. The lock opens with a 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and locks with a 1/4 turn clockwise. Each door includes one plastic decorative frame in white or graphite.

2. The "Sherbet Alley" Deluxe Pastels -

plastic framed doors available in a rainbow of colors including mint, "very pink", white and lemon yellow. These feature a painted steel locking cover with the same dead bolt lock and one matching decorative frame.

These two lines both incorporate the same exciting features:

First the high performance features:

All Classy Custom pet doors incorporate a silicone flap that is very soft and flexible. The flap is fastened at the top with screws.

These flaps incorporate magnetic edges that provide for an air-tight seal on the sides. Together with a floating threshold, the flap seals tightly on all four sides.

The Pet Portals are "self-framing" in a range of 1/16" to 2".  This means that the Classy Custom pet doors may be installed in virtually every exterior, interior (including hollow core) and storm door on the market. (Measure your door thickness to be safe).

All Classy Custom pet portals come in three sizes and some come in four including an XLarge.

Now the decorative features:

Once you've selected the Pet Portal, you have a wide choice of decorative frames and frame "sets" that may be added to the outside or interior as desired. These include the four "Sherbet Alley" colors, graphite and special frame sets that reflect special occasions. (Frame "sets" include a steel door painted to continue the theme of the frame and would mount on the inside only). 

This decorative interchangeability, which is a patented feature by the way, allows you to change the style of the pet door to match the season, your interior color if different from the exterior or just your mood!
