flap version. Double flap version is significantly better. "Brush Only" - Other than Endura, the better sealing pet doors rely on brush-type weather strip and double flaps. The Endura is a magnet-to-magnet air-tight seal. "Dbl Flap" - Most dog doors that seal well rely upon a double flap configuration: Two separate flaps with an air space between. The single flap versions of these pet doors do not insulate well at all. Some, like the Endura and Smart Pet incorporate insulating thickness within a single flap. |
