Walking with your dog is good for you and good for the dog. But it's hard to find a place where the dog is allowed to run free these days. You need a leash. The problem with a leash of any but the shortest length is that the dog is constantly getting tangled in it. As far as we're concerned, there's only one solution - the Flexi Leash. Here's how it works. First, all sizes come with a 16 foot length line. As the dog walks away, the line feeds out. Here's the good part: As he walks back, the line retracts automatically! No tangles! Of course, you can apply a brake with your thumb if you want to keep him from using the full 16 feet. At a curb, for instance, you want to keep him close. Or, if you're approaching a bush or post, you'll want to keep him from going on the wrong side so you hold him in until you pass. As well, you can apply a brake lock permanently with your thumb. In an open area this leash shines. The dog has a full 16 feet in every direction which allows him to gallop about 30 feet forward and backward while you walk. He gets a great workout and you still have the control you need. As you can see from the graphic, this is the new 'Comfort Series' which has a soft, cushiony handle. Works the same as the original Flexi leash but nicer on the hand.
