When ordering flaps, it is important to specify the type of pet door (ie door mount, wall mount) and, also, on a double flap door if the flap is an inside mount or an outside mount.

After you click on 'Buy Now' for replacement flaps, you will be presented with a drop down offering 'Inside', 'Outside',  and 'Training'. To replace both flaps in a double flap Hale unit, choose one 'Inside' and one 'Outside'. For single flap units, you may choose 'Inside', or 'Outside'.  After choosing the flap, please note 'Type of Pet Door' in the dialog box offered.

Replacement flaps come complete with replacement nylon weather stripping, drill bit, replacement screws and replacement magnets at no additional charge.

Training flaps are intended for temporary use in training. They are easier to use but should be replaced with a standard flap for better performance when training is complete.

Locking covers are regular top load. If you wish a side-load locking cover, please order 'side load option' (19HS98 or 19HS99) from the 'Hale-Other Parts' page after ordering the locking cover.

Note: Hale used to offer a "Polar" flap which is more flexible in cold weather. Now, all Hale flaps are the "Polar" version and the original flaps are no longer available.
