Ideal "Original" pet doors will have a plastic frame surrounding the flap. The Ideal "Deluxe" series pet doors have a metal frame surrounding the flap. Please see our Urgent Notice when making flap replacements for these pet doors or for replacing an existing Ideal Deluxe or Original pet door.

Most Ideal Fast Fit Patio Panel pet doors for sliding glass doors have been constructed with a plastic 'Original' pet door installed in the panel. If you have this plastic framed version, you can replace the flap on this product page. As an alternative, if your plastic frame is in need of replacement, you can order the entire flap assembly at replacement flap assemblies.

A few Ideal Fast Fit Patio Pet Doors have been made with the metal 'Deluxe' type doors. These will accept the Ideal "Deluxe" replacement flaps.
