The Petsafe 700 Series Plastic Pet Door
was originally known as the Staywell 700 Series "Original" pet doors prior to the Petsafe purchase of Staywell.
These are 'Standard' design, plastic framed pet doors suitable for installation in solid core wood doors or other solid materials. Installation in a wall or hollow-core door requires that the user 'frame out' the door or wall first.
Petsafe has incorporated some significant improvements in the medium and large sizes of these dog doors.
Flaps are rigid and consist of two parts: A central flap and overlapping 'U' shaped gasket piece. The result is an unusually tight sealing flap. Because of this two-part design, this pet door is relatively noisy in use.
Rigid, separate locking covers slide down from the top. These 'Original' pet doors are available in white frame with clear flap only.
Petsafe Pet Door Products Warranty
All parts, excluding vinyl flaps, are covered under warranty, and labor is covered for the first year of ownership. Thereafter, there is a minimum service charge for the repair or replacement of the product. Vinyl flaps are warranted for one (1) year. Misuse, loss, improper handling, commercial use, and dirty or worn parts are not covered. Radio Systems will not pay for loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of your product, or any incidental or consequential damages.
