The Petsafe Builder Panel Pet Door Insert

simplifies the process of installing a pet door in an uneven surfaced door. It has a double-flap consisting of two Petsafe Freedom flaps available in large size only.

The flaps may be removed allowing the panel to be installed with either end up. This allows the step-over height to be set to about 8 1/2" or 10" depending on which end is up. The use of the word 'about' refers to the fact that there is some play in the actual height chosen by the user.

The flaps are doubled up. That is, there are two of them with an air-space between. This should provide for an increase in insulation as well as wind-resistance.

In summary, if the combination of flap size and step-over height is appropriate for your pet, then this door will be relatively easy to install in a variety of doors that are other wise more difficult to install in.

All parts, excluding vinyl flaps, are covered under warranty, and labor is covered for the first year of ownership. Thereafter, there is a minimum service charge for the repair or replacement of the product. Vinyl flaps are warranted for one (1) year. Misuse, loss, improper handling, commercial use, and dirty or worn parts are not covered.
