The Petsafe Plastic Pet Door
is a new self-framing pet door design that features a very broad adjustment range. Frame and locking cover are plastic and particularly suitable for installation near the ocean which is corrosive to aluminum framing.
Features:
- Self-framing adjustment range of 1/16" - 1 3/4" (Small); 3/8" - 2" (Medium, Large & Extra Large)
- Liner made of stiff plastic is cut with scissors to fit the depth of the door.
- Plastic locking cover mounts from in front of pet door so it doesn't interfere with a door knob or other protrusion above it. This is a great feature if you need it.
- Vinyl flap has a 'bellows' area on each edge intended to help preserve a seal in cold weather. There is no positive magnetic attachment down the sides, however.
- Flap attachment screws are fitted in slots allowing precise up-and-down adjustment.
- Magnetic threshold pops up to meet flap at the bottom for improved seal.
- Plastic frame is non-corrosive especially in environments near salt water.
- This pet door is similar to the Petsafe Freedom metal framed pet door and uses the same Petsafe Freedom replacement flap.
