The Petsafe Wall Entry Pet Door
For many years we advised people that two of the Petsafe Classic (formerly Pet-Eze) pet doors would work in a 'double flap' wall installation if the homeowner would frame out the wall first. The result would be far superior to a single flap installation because the two flaps would trap a dead-air space between them which is significantly better insulation.
Now Petsafe has simplified the process by providing both flap assemblies and a telescoping tunnel in a nice, easy to use package.
As always, know your limits. Have a contractor do this if you are in doubt regarding your ability to do a safe and water-tight job.
Features:
- Relatively easy to install, do-it-yourself pet door for your wall.
- Telescoping tunnel to accommodate both 2" x 4" and 2" x 6" construction (Telescoping tunnel fits walls from 4 3/4" - 7 1/4" thick and doesn't require cutting).
- Double flap construction ensures better sealing and insulation than most single flap pet doors.
- Durable, white aluminum frame with dark trim.
- Single locking cover fits on the inside (most usual) or outside.
Petsafe products may not be shipped outside the USA.
