PlexiDor has been an important manufacturer of pet doors for home use for many years. Now, with 'bite guard' technology, the company is building KennelPlex pet doors designed with greater durability for kennel applications.

PlexiDor 'Bite Guard' pet doors incorporate solid ¹/₄" Plexiglas flaps with metal edging to significantly resist chewing. The XLarge size retains the original saloon door design while the large size has been modified to be a single flap swinging from the top.

'Basic' PlexiDor 'Bite Guard' pet doors do not include the backside trim items. If you don't need these, save some money!  If you do need them, then you should order the 'Exterior Frame Pieces' in the same color also.

Note that neither version, basic or basic with frame pieces, includes a locking cover. If you need one, order the 'Complete' version which includes locking cover as well as exterior frame pieces.

Final Note: Plexidor has added 'bite guard' technology to their regular line in the XLarge size only.
