2- Step
Assemble the staircase in two parts starting with the smaller steps

Step 1: Place right panel, Part (b) on floor with Pet Gear logo facing the floor and insert top stair, part (E).

Keep the straight edge toward the back and rug facing the top. Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting. (If inserting part is difficult put a little dish soap on doweled end before inserting.)

Be sure to seal any gaps after attaching sides so it is perfectly stable

Step 2: Insert riser, part (C). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

Part C is labeled as the riser creating the height of the step over

Step 3: Insert bottom stair, part (F). Note the curved side direction. Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

Portions of the item will be curved, check your diagram provided to make sure the curved side is correct

Step 4: Insert riser, part (C). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

your riser will now be ready to install, this is the base of the entire stair

Step 5: Insert dowel, part (D). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

Always check throughout your assembly that there is no space between the parts after putting them together

Step 6: Attach left panel, part (A). Align all holes before pushing panel down. Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

The left panel is ready to be attached, all the holes needs to match up before firmly pushing down

 

3- Step
The second part of this do-it-yourself- installation is the top half of the stair
Check your kit and diagram to make sure all the parts have been included before starting

Step 1: Place left panel, on the floor with Pet Gear logo facing the floor and insert top stair, part (G/H).

Keep the straight edge toward the back and rug facing the top. Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting. (If inserting part is difficult put a little dish soap on doweled end before inserting.)

Keep your straight edge down as you start with the left panel labeled G

Step 2: Insert riser, part (B). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

Your riser is B and should be input with no space openings letting air through>

Step 3: Insert second stair, part (D/C). Note the curved side direction. Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

Step 4: Insert riser, part (B). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

The second piece to the riser is followed for the left panel, check the diagram to make sure you are on the right track

Step 5: Insert bottom stair, part (J/I). Note the curved side direction. Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

The final bottom step is slipped in the correct direction so your pet can walk up and down easily

Step 6: Insert front flat panel, part (K/L). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

Looking at the side view, be sure the three steps are inserted tightly together

Step 7: Insert back support bar, part (P/O). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

Insert 2 dowels, Part (Q), as shown.

The back support for the staircase uses bars toward the top and bottom

Step 8: Insert hidden storage panel, part (M/N). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

The panel hiding your storage space is now inserted

Step 9: Attach right panel. Align all holes before pushing panel down. Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.

Grab the right panel and attach it to the left to create an entire unit

Step 10: Place the carpet, part (R), on the Velcro strips on the bottom step, as shown below.

Separately velcro the carpet on starting at the bottom

Step 11: Place the carpet, part (R), on the Velcro strips on the 2-step, as shown above.
