Cat Mate has undertaken significant upgrades to their cat door line. 

As these upgrades take place, we will note the affected models on the appropriate  product pages.

Cat Mate's planned upgrades are:

1. Flap material upgraded from acrylic to polycarbonate.  Polycarbonate is a much stronger alternative.

2. Additional draft-proofing by sealing the flap top edge.

3. New locks. A new design spring cannot be moved by accident.

4. Securely sealed magnets that won't drop out and become lost.

There is no change to the weather-seal already on the exterior frame or the 3 year guarantee.
