The Dog Mate Small Dog Electronic Dog Door

The Dog Mate Small Dog Electronic Dog Door is operated by one 9 volt battery (not included) so it doesn't require a location near a wall outlet. The door senses the collar key, which is a small magnet, and unlocks. The dog (or cat) then pushes through.

The pet door is self-framing and includes a '4-way' lock which may be set for 'in only' and 'out only' in addition to locked and unlocked.

Note  Reversed installation (turning the pet door around so that it controls from the inside rather than from the outside) will void the warranty.

This Dog Mate electronic pet door is identical to the Cat Mate Electronic Large Cat except for the collar keys which are larger and more suitable for the size and shape of a dog. Spare collar keys for dogs or cats may be ordered from the Parts and Flaps-Collar Keys category. Both types of keys will operate this door.

Tip  There is a third slide lock mounted in the bottom center of the pet door which locks the solenoid. However, several customers have misinterpreted its function, left the solenoid locked and thought that the pet door was malfunctioning.
