Good for mild rain
This small awning protects the pet door from light, non-blowing rain.

Provides a bit of coverage for light/regular rain, which is nice. However, no match for rain driven by high winds.
does the job
This does a pretty good job of protecting my pet door during light rain but it doesn't do much when the wind is blowing the rain at your door. But since I don't get heavy rains that often, this does the job.
Looks nice but doesn't do much
It is a nice aesthetic. It protects against rain that is falling straight down, but at that gentle of weather, the actual door does a great job of it by itself. It would be nice if it extended out a bit farther, or went along the sides a little to actually be more effective. If you have a lot of water running down your house from bad drainage though, this would be a nice accessory
