Great product, not good packaging
This is a great addition to the pet door for screens. No problem with the product and installing. The poor shipping container caused the rod to be bent in 2places which mad for a difficult to position and get an accurate fit. Does not look nice but the dogs have not bent it any more.
Excellent Satbilizer
Stabilizer is must for giant pet doors. This way pet door can hold to your screen door properly. Design is very good.
Bar adds sturdiness
We used the bar but the clips only work if you are putting the door in a removable screen or a screen door. We put the pet door in a screened area next to the door which was not removable. We cut the stabilizer bar to fit the screen area and ******* it to the pet door and screen frame. It worked just fine but remember the clips only work on a thin screen frame.
