This product is constructed very well. Having a side sliding door is ideal for under our windowsill. I am very pleased with the dog door.

This side-loading locking cover is great if you want your Hale locking cover to load from the side and not the top. Excellent option if you have obstructions that would prevent loading the cover from the top.

We had to fit this under a window and it barely clears but is the right size for our dog. Nice to have the side sliding security panel so that we didn’t have to alter the window sill above it. Dog learned it fast maybe because of clear panels. Only problem is the dead grass she brings in on her back, but that’s not the door’s fault- in fact the door cleans some of that off.
