Number of Flaps:
1 - Single Flap: On inside of wall (same side as locking cover)
2 - Double Flap: One on each side. The included dead-air-space and extra flap add significantly to the already considerable insulation and sealing values.

Fairly easy to install however, the template to cut the door leaves no room for error so be exact on your cut out. Also, the magnet that keeps the door closed isn't the strongest but does the job. A bit pricy but exactly what I was looking for.

I emailed customer service to ensure I got the correct replacement door (for the worn-out one) and was provided with a link to the correct item. I purchased it and - you guessed it - it didn't fit. Had to heavily modify the installation and now the door sticks open.

I turned it around backwards to start so my Houdini cat can’t reach the lock levers. It’s working great. Might have worked the right way around too.

We have an enclosed porch and wanted our cats to be able to go in and out without us having to be there to open and close the door. The directions were easy to follow and installation went very well. The cats love it.

Once we installed the door in place of the broken one we found that it doesn’t swing as freely so it stands open most of the time.
