Number of Flaps:
1 - Single Flap: On inside of wall (same side as locking cover)
2 - Double Flap: One on each side. The included dead-air-space and extra flap add significantly to the already considerable insulation and sealing values.

Pet Door Replacement Flap
As in previous years, the product is 100% excellent. Quality is top notch, ease of ordering is perfect, instructions for installation simple and detailed! The savings of being able to order just the replacement flap is so very appreciated even though each flap has lasted me a minimum of 7 years even though being constantly used by 2-3 dogs! THANK YOU!!!

large pet door
This is not the my first dog door I've put over the years but this was the easiest door I have ever installed. The instructions are very easy and it looks great! I only wish taking out the old door was as easy as putting this one in

Cheap and does the job
Inexpensive and easy to install. The magnets aren't very strong, so probably not suited for really windy/cold areas. Other than that, pretty standard dog door that works well!

Love it
We've had Ideal pet doors for many years. They hold up very well. Our older dog was a large dog who ran through it all the time. My husband thought we needed a very large door so he wouldn't tear it up as he came charging through . When he was gone we got a smaller dog so got the medium size door which I thought looked way too small, but it's perfect. It seals well and keeps out the cold.

Good product, easy install
Overall, the Super Large Pet Door was very easy to install and works very well. The only drawback is the door does not seal outside air off very well along the sides. It has a magnetic catch/seal along the bottom, but nothing to keep air from escaping/entering along the sides. This is not a problem for me...I used it on an interior garage door. I have an older pet door installed on the garage wall to the outside, that works better for outside use, but on the interior door, I still get a slight draft froom the unheated garage. This may work well as an exterior door in a southern climate, but I wouldn't recommend it for northern/cold climates as a primary pet door.
