The extruded aluminum frame is designed to fit sliding glass door tracks at least 7/8" thick, while the lightweight, single-pane glass and spring-loaded design allow for easy installation and removal.
The clear vinyl flap is thin and comfortable for pets to use, enabling both dogs and cats to come and go with ease. The solid magnetic lining on the bottom of the flap ensures it stays shut when not in use, providing extra security and insulation.
The Ideal Fast Fit Patio Pet Door features many customizable sizing options. Each panel size also comes with a standard step-over height:
Ordering a non-standard step-over height and flap combination will require your panel to be custom made, making it non-refundable. For example, the standard step-over is a medium is 4". The medium flap with a 2.5" or 8" step-over is a custom panel pet door.
The 79.5" - 93.5" Custom height ranges are a two-piece design that you will need to assemble before installing. Additionally, the height extension piece will need to be semi-permanently installed. They are only compatible with channel style tracks and will not fit into monorail sliding glass doors.
In addition to its easy installation and customizable features, the Fast Fit Patio Pet Door also includes a Foam Bumper Seal and Vinyl Draft Seal to reduce heating and cooling loss, enhancing energy efficiency. United StatesI have used this door for years! I’ve owned 2 actually, they do eventually get worn out. Unfortunately, I have changed houses and my doors are taller (94.5”) and I cannot get this door in a height that will fit and it is currently unavailable anyway. Way to get replacement parts and install when the dogs break something. Ultimately I recommend this door as it is easy to install and my boys and their predecessors loved it.
This solves the problem. The cat can come and go without me. A HUGE special shout out to Scott, who in addition to answering all my questions, patiently stood by through a delivery drama. Thank you
