Number of Flaps:
1 - Single Flap: On inside of wall (same side as locking cover)
2 - Double Flap: One on each side. The included dead-air-space and extra flap add significantly to the already considerable insulation and sealing values.
Our 9 month old cats use and LOVE this door. It is perfect because we heat our garage in the winter but this has a nice magnetic closure to keep the garage warm but is still easy enough for them to push their way out when they want to go on an adventure. The insert that slips in to keep them in and safe at night is my favorite feature. Highly recommend.
Love the door. My son put it in with no problems. And hello to Clifford, the big red dog! (And to Mike and his girl friend too (I forget her name). Carol Z
This is my fourth door from PetDoors and for the most part, the first 3 doors went in relatively easy. Unfortunately this Liberty door not so much. The two halves of didn't line up. It was like the outside half came from another door or another size. Fortunately I had another similar door (Endura Flap) and it lined up perfectly. Still, for the premium you have to pay for these doors, you would expect the correct parts to be in the box
Replacing our old dog door with the same size from the same company was a good idea. Our new rescue dog, Bella, just couldn’t get used to the older, heavier, 2 flap door. This new clear single flap door is helping her and she’ll be using it soon. Easy to replace because it fits the previous spot.
After I ordered a door but found my door was thicker than the door would accommodate. The custom modified my door and it fit. You don't get that kind of service every day.
