Jobs for Students Manufacturing Technician

We are looking for an efficiency driven teammate to add to our production staff. You will join a crew that builds over 10,000 pet doors each year that is meticulous about quality from all aspects of the product life. Being able to work within tight tolerances to produce only outstanding quality products is required. Immediate part-time openings to join our production team.

What We’re Looking For

  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with hand and industrial tools and safe shop procedures
  • Efficiency-driven

Performance based pay which yields $12/hr - $18/hr depending on ability with future engineering opportunities available as well. Must be available to work full time over the summer. It's great manufacturing experience that helps develop future engineers.

Sales and Customer Service Representative

Join a fun group of dog-loving individuals! PetDoors.com is hiring a Sales and Customer Service Representative to be part of a team managing sales to retail and wholesale customers. A sampling of responsibilities include customer queries, orders, sales and providing outstanding service. You’ll be asked to answer phone calls, chat and emails communicating directly with customers. You'll also work with our suppliers. Working with various computer programs like Google Suite, Magento, Amazon and NetSuite on a daily basis. To be successful in this position, you’ll need to efficiently perform a variety of roles and tasks each day. We’re a small business so you’ll be involved in various aspects of the company, not the same mundane task all day long. The following is a list of common responsibilities which are subject to change based on the business needs.


Responsibilities include:

  • Sale our products to retail and wholesale customers
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Ability to interpret what the customer is communicating and respond accurately on the phone, chat, emails and other channels
  • Acknowledge and resolve customer concerns
  • Know the products we sell inside and out so that you can answer questions, recommend the best product, overcome objections to close the sale

Amazon Seller Central Sales Manager

You, the Amazon Seller Central Sales Manager of our dreams, are a natural-born problem solver and will spend your days systematically identifying the most lucrative improvement opportunities on Amazon, develop a plan and execute your plan. You are passionately engaged with the ever-evolving Amazon landscape, and have a finger on the changes that can grow long term profits.

Our ideal candidate is analytical and an experienced problem solver that can navigate Amazon’s Platform blindfolded. We are seeking an experienced Amazon seller and detail-oriented team player with exceptional judgment to manage listings and continue to grow our sales. This position will be responsible for managing listings on over 2000 SKUs, optimizing product visibility, researching new opportunities, launching new products, analyzing data.


Here are some highlights of what you'll be doing...

  • Develop set 3-5 of KPI’s that act as leading indicators for future profit in first 30 days
  • Clearly identify our direct Amazon profit, our profit from resellers and total Amazon profit within 30 days
  • Increase traffic by 10% for each of our top 10 products. Develop system of measuring organic rankings and improve rankings for out top 10 products by enhancing their listings within 120 days

The Skills

  • You know how to leverage Seller Central to maximize our Amazon performance
  • You’ll drive traffic by doing competitive analysis, keyword research, content creation

  • Play a big role in designing our team’s focus and a lead role in executing the Amazon plan

  • Receive products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks at the loading docks
  • Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list
  • Collaborate with our marketing department to develop a schedule for assembling and displaying manufacturer marketing pieces on the sales floor
  • Update the product inventory as products are received and added to our inventory
  • Package products for return to vendors and fill out any RMA paperwork necessary prior to the shipment being picked up

Digital Marketing Manager

We are looking for someone with strong skills in SEO and paid search! Our ideal candidate is analytical, confident, and has a fantastic attitude. We get 500,000+ users to our website annually and sell around $2M of pet doors directly on our website. Close to half of that comes from Google Ads. Join our team in managing our advertising campaigns and driving site improvement through SEO.


Here are some highlights of what you'll be doing...

  • Grow the gross profit generated by our Amazon Ads 20% by leveraging our PPC and Google Search Console data and scaling to Amazon
  • Implement a system to shake out the noise of search to measure true improvement from SEO efforts; within 3 months, build a model is built that accurately forecasts incremental improvements of future data within 20%
  • In the first 6 months...
    • Become the team leader in completed SEO tickets, and increase team production by 50% by breaking up SEO projects into smaller pieces for our team of students
