Manufacturers' Return Policies and Restocking Fees

The table below shows manufacturer policies for returns. In all cases, the items must be uninstalled and in original condition. All items that ship from PetDoors.com warehouse or are drop-shipped from a different warehouse have a 30-day return policy. 

Items shipped from PetDoors.com warehouse, after 30 Day Rules (non-Endura Flap or Dragon Pet Door products):

  • After 30 days, Items that are returned have a 15% restocking fee.
  • After 60 days, Items that are returned have a 20% restocking fee.
  • After 90 days, Items that are returned have a 35% restocking fee.
  • Items cannot be accepted after 120 days.

After 90 Day Rules for Endura Flap Products:

  • After 90 days, Items that are returned have a 15% restocking fee.
  • After 120 days, Items that are returned have a 20% restocking fee.
  • After 150 days, Items that are returned have a 35% restocking fee.
  • Items cannot be accepted after 365 days.

After 30-Day Rules for Dragon Pet Door Products:

  • After 30 days, Items that are returned have a 15% restocking fee.
  • After 60 days, Items that are returned have a 20% restocking fee.
  • After 90 days, Items that are returned have a 35% restocking fee.
  • Items cannot be accepted after 365 days.

Time frames begin the day that you receive your order. Please understand that we as PetDoors.com have no control over drop-shipper restrictions, and if your item was drop-shipped from a different manufacturer warehouse, it is very unlikely that a return will be accepted past the 30-day time frame.

Do you charge shipping for returns? Yes, you must pay for return shipping. We will send you a shipping label to use at the post office for your convenience. 

For International orders, the recipient is responsible for return shipping costs. Due to international banking regulations, all product returns must be received by PetDoors.com within 100 days of placing the order. You must contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization number and ship-to address.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please email customerservice@petdoors.com or call us at (800) 826-2871 to submit a request for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number; custom built products cannot be returned. We ask that your retain the original box to return the product. This must be within 30 days of receipt (90 days for Endura Flap products). We expect return goods to be in original, resalable condition within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. All refunds will amount to the cost of the purchase, NOT including the original shipping charges. The cost of your return shipping label will also be deducted from your refund. We process returns Wednesday and Friday except for holidays and generally expect that returns are processed by the next processing day after receipt.

The return period is extended to 90 days for any product that is based upon the Endura Flap™ line.

When shipping returns back please make sure to package them properly to prevent damage. The label will have the proper return address already on it, as some items will need to go back to the drop ship company they originated from. All refunds will amount to the cost of the item, including taxes if applicable. We process returns weekly on Wednesday and Friday except holidays.
