This weatherstripping for dog doors fits around all four sides of the frame for the Ideal Ruff Weather and Protector pet doors. When placed from the bottom of the door threshold to the top, the foam tape weatherstripping will create a tight weather seal that will prevent air leaks during extreme weather conditions. On hot days, your air conditioner will not have to compete with any hot air coming through your entry door pet door. If you have a small to extra-large pet door, choose "Up to Extra Large" in the dropdown menu. If your door is any size smaller than the extra-large, you will need to trim the dog door weatherstripping to fit accordingly. If you have the super-large size, choose "Super Large XXL" in the dropdown menu. Once you receive your new Ruff Weather dog door replacement parts, make sure to clean the area in which you are going to place the new weatherstripping, as it will not stick and create a weather-tight door seal if you do not.
