With a quick and hassle-free DIY installation, you'll only need a screwdriver to get the job done, and your pets will be able to use their door again in minutes. These flaps are compatible with various pet door models, including PetSafe Deluxe Patio Panel Pet Door, PetSafe Instant Panels, old PetSafe Wall Entry Aluminum Pet Door, PetSafe Pet Storm Door by LARSON with the Classic Pet Door, and all older Pet-Eze Pet Products, Greater Freedom, InstaFit Deluxe pet doors, and Deluxe patio panels.

  • Remove this screw using a drill with a Phillips Head bit.

FAQ

Which PetSafe doors are compatible with this flap?

This flap is compatible with the Classic Pet Door, Deluxe Patio Panel Door, Wall Entry Aluminum Pet Door, old Pet-Eze doors, Insta Fit, and Greater Freedom doors. It is essential that you order the right flap for your doggie door because brands/models are not interchangeable.

I don't know what model I have. How can I tell the difference between the PetSafe Classic and PetSafe Pet Door Freedom?

The PetSafe Classic flap slides into a groove at the top, via tabs or nubs on the top, and if you look at a side view of the flap, it has the shape of a "T". The PetSafe Classic flap also has multiple segmented magnets at the bottom. The PetSafe Freedom Flap has screw holes with one continuous magnet strip on the bottom.

Is this the PetSafe Deluxe replacement flap for the panels?

Yes, it is for the Deluxe Patio Panel Door.

What is the part number for this flap?

The PetSafe classic door replacement flap part number is 4-0113-11 or 700-416 and, in some cases, is embossed on the flap.

Is this compatible with the old PetSafe Ultimate Door?

No, it does not have the U-shaped gasket. You would need the Pride Replacement Flap.

Why can't I order the Tall/Medium or Extra Large?

Unfortunately, these classic replacement flaps have been discontinued. We are all out of stock of the PetSafe Classic Replacement Flap Tall Medium and PetSafe Classic Replacement Flap Extra Large.

I have a Tall/Medium or Extra Large door that needs a replacement flap, and I can't find any on other sites. Now what?

There is the option to make your own flap using sheet vinyl that can be purchased from local hardware stores. However, it may be difficult to replicate the tabs for the attachment mechanism. We would suggest looking into purchasing a newer unit if making your own flap is not an option. There is not a direct replacement for the PetSafe Classic dog and cat door, but the Freedom model is a close fit.

Why do the sides of the flap curl up?

Several factors can contribute to flaps warping over time. Some customers who have pet doors located in an area that receives more direct sunlight have placed small plants or similar landscaping in a way that keeps the door and flap shaded. Extreme temperature changes may also contribute, so if your pet door has a closing panel that can fit on the outside frame, then this may help as well. For an extreme weather pet door, we recommend the Endura Flap brand or the more economical option, the Ideal Pet Products Ruff Weather Pet Door.

My pets are having trouble pushing through the flap. How do I take out the magnets?

The magnets on this flap are not removable. However, you can use painters tape to tape over the threshold and decrease magnet strength.

Does this come with both flaps for the telescoping entry (wall entry) pet door?

No, only a single flap is included in your order, so you would have to order two if you need new flaps for a double flap door.

Do you also have the classic closing panel pet door cover for aluminum doors?

No, we do not. Those would have to be purchased directly from PetSafe.

Are there any other flaps with stronger magnets or side magnets?

Unfortunately, this is the only flap that is compatible with the old PetSafe models.

Is the QuickFit Flap still available?

No, it was discontinued. You will need to replace your entire pet door. Our expert Customer Service Team can help you choose the best replacement door for your situation. They'll see if you are looking for great prices, high quality, and a number of other factors to find a great product that works best for you.

Where can I find a PetSafe X-large Classic dog door flap replacement?

That pet door and replacement flaps have been discontinued. You will need to replace the entire pet door. The PetSafe Freedom Aluminum Pet Door is the closest replacement.

Do you have InstaFit pet doors replacements or Pet Eze Classic replacement flaps?

The InstaFit replacement flap and Pet Eze dog door flaps are the same as our PetSafe "Classic" Replacement Flaps. Here's where you can order the remaining inventory.

I have a part number of p/n 700-416 pe door flap, what Pet Eze flaps should I order?

This is a PetSafe Large size Classic flap.

Is the InstaFit pet doors and PetSafe classic replacement flap the same?

Yes, the PetSafe Classic pet door replacement flaps work with the discontinued InstaFit flap pet door.

Is a PetSafe medium flap still available?

Yes, the medium flap dimension is available until we run out of stock. They are no longer being made.
