High Tech Power Pet Door Mount Dog Door (Original and WiFi)
The High Tech Power Pet Door Mount is a premium pet door solution that offers convenience, security, and comfort for your beloved pets. Designed for modern living, this electronic pet door is available with different locking settings and controls.
Both of these pet doors provide seamless access for your pets with their automatic, ultrasonic pet collar key-sensing technology, allowing the door to unlock and open when your pet approaches. The quiet motorized flap lifts for a seamless entry and exit experience, giving your pet access outdoors without the need for pushing or prodding.
The High Tech Power Pet Door offers increased home security with its deadbolt locking system, which activates as soon as the door is completely shut. Additionally, a 4-way locking system can be enabled for further control over your pet's access and keep out stays and other critters.
With its lightweight design, the door panel ensures safe and quiet operation, while the Automatic Safety Retract feature reopens the door if it encounters an obstruction during closure.
The settings for the Automatic Door Mount can be set and changed by the control pad at the top of the pet door. It also comes with a MS-5 collar key.
The smartphone controlled WiFi Pet Door connects to your home's wifi and can be controlled remotely with an integrated smartphone app. You can set up to 20 custom timers to regulate your pet's access and keep track of the sensor-triggered events through the app's history feature. Comes with an MS-5 collar key.
Both versions of the pet door can either be powered by electricity of battery. Connect your pet door to an outlet using the included cord, or purchase a rechargeable battery to use along with the AC adapter (which can provide backi[ power during outages).

Number of Flaps:
1 - Single Flap: On inside of wall (same side as locking cover)
2 - Double Flap: One on each side. The included dead-air-space and extra flap add significantly to the already considerable insulation and sealing values.

United StatesThe door itself is a great concept. The collar however is this systems weak link. The continuing cost of collars and batteries make this system more of rental than a purchase. It's just ongoing replacement of collars and batteries that make this system not ideal. At $50 a pop to replace a collar and no knock offs to speak of it's very expensive.
United StatesI love the door BUT the collars are cheap and break all the time and cost a lot to replace. I have three dogs and this is expensive. I called the company and they make me leave a message and have never returned my calls. I use to have the kind that worked the same way but with a magnet and am going back to that kind.
SUPER awesome door, only problem is it was somewhat difficult to install, and the largest size barely fits my German Shepherd. But it is really amazing, they thought of all the features to make it successful. My first product came damaged- the box was completely destroyed by fedex, so it has been a hassle to get the new product and return my old heavy one but It is still a super cool piece.
Same issues with the collars and the door malfunctioning as several others have noted. The company probably realizes they can gouge you for replacements once you commit. That said, the convenience is still mostly worth it. Just be prepared to invest about $50 pet dog after a year or so between collars, batteries, and door malfunctions.
