Product Details

Give your pet a convenient way to go in and out with the Baboni pet door for walls. The heavy-duty Baboni pet door is composed of metal steel and aerospace-grade aluminum alloy that can withstand even the harshest weather. The frame and telescoping tunnel are elaborately built in combination with automotive laser welding technology for optimal practicality and beauty.

The Baboni pet door for walls features a double flap system, as well as a soft, flexible flap that is easy for pets to use. Both flaps are lined with strong magnets to prevent the wind from blowing your flap open or drafts from getting into your home.

The Baboni pet door comes with a secure, slide-in locking cover to block off access to your pet door when not in use. The telescoping tunnel accommodates walls that are 4 3/4" to 7 1/4" in thickness.

Features:

  • Sturdy metal frame made from high-quality steel aluminum alloy
  • Magnetic, flexible flap that is easy for both small and large pets to use while sealing against drafts

  • Telescoping tunnel that frames the inside of walls 4 3/4" to 7 1/4" thick
  • Includes a metal locking cover for added security

Step 1 Mark the Outline

  • Measure your pet from the ground to the top of their shoulders and mark that height on your wall.
  • Use the provided template to trace the outline of the door with the dotted line on the template aligned with your pet's shoulder height marked on the wall.
  • The vertical lines on both sides need to be extended.

Step 2 Make the Interior Rough Cutout

  • Remove the template (set aside for later steps) and drill out the four corners inside the lines.
  • Use a drywall saw to cut along each line to make the opening into the interior of your wall. Do not cut through the exterior wall at this time.

Step 3 Insert the Inside Frame

  • Insert the center locator into the back of the inside frame and guide the frame into the rough cutout.
  • Drill through the three holes marked on the center locator all the way through the outside wall.

Step 4 Make the Exterior Rough Cutout

  • On the outside wall, line up the cutout template with the three holes you you drilled.
  • Outline the entire template the same way you did for the interior wall cutout.
  • Remove the template and drill four corner goles inside the lines.
  • Use a drywall saw to cut through each line you drew to make the external opening.
  • Test fit the outside frame in the opening to make sure it fits.

Step 5 Install the A Side Frame

  • Insert the "A side" inside frame into the interior rough cutout.
  • Leave 1.18" of space on the left and right sides.

Step 6 Install the Interior Frame

  • Mark the location of the 4 toggle bolt holes.
  • Drill through the marked holes.
  • Insert the inside frame into the opening aligning with the drilled holes.

Step 7 Attach the Tunnel Pieces

  • Remove the two screws at the top and two screws at the bottom of the Interior Flap Frame. If you removed the cover already, the outside frame screw holes have threaded nuts in them and you can see them shine.
  • Attach the smaller tunnel pieces to the top and bottom of the Interior Flap Frame using the two screws.

Step 8 Install the Exterior Frame

  • Install the exterior frame using the "B side" pet door the same way you installed the "A side" door.
  • Install surface B on the outer wall and tighten the screws.
