Will the Original Ideal Pet Door replacement flaps work in place of the Ideal Insulator flaps?
Ideal replacement door flaps are model specific and cannot be interchanged. The Ideal Pet Door flaps you need to order are the Insulator and are available in four sizes.
One Year Warranty And Disclaimer
Step 1: Loosen the screw heads that attach the flap to the frame (located at the top of the flap frame) by turning the knobs to a vertical position using a flat head screwdriver.
Step 2: With the slots of the screw heads in vertical positions, you will be able to take the screws out of the frame.
Step 3: After all have been removed, pull the old vinyl flap downward to disassemble it.
Step 4: Take the new flap and align the holes at the top with those in the white flap bar.
Step 5: To lock the new flap in place, reinstall the screws in the white flap bar by pushing them through the holes and turning them to a horizontal orientation with a screwdriver.
